Extra Salt


I nodded and followed
with a lota of water for his medicines

I am never alone
walking in any zone
of life any time.
An all-pervading hymn
sounds your voice
drenched in joice.
I feel your presence
in mind blowing essence
in many blooming flowers
magnificent in colors,
in golden-green paddy
in clay sandy or muddy.
I feel your grace
in the sun's face
in light-shade game
on sky in your name.

With a power without powerful tone!
A stranger's entry in the middle zone!

With some ideas in mind, he got settled for sometime.
New village, no relatives, awesome people, no crime.

With an intention to develop their children's career.
By suggesting ways to break the stopping barrier.

With also a dream to advance the rural life excellently.
With successful completions he performed intelligently.

Now the condition is most children in the village are educated.
With hard work the children proved, they are also graduated.

After a long time, the villagers announced, "Rishi, you're awesome!".
I replied, "no guys still I have others in my plate, you're awesome!".

जो शाम थे वो अब सहर हो गए,
वो समंदर की मचलती लहर हो गए,
गांव बनने में जिनको वर्षों लगे,
वो एक पल में चमकते शहर हो गए।

I can't live without you!
I can't leave you!
My eyes are tasting your feast,
My heart is dancing your music,
My foot is flying on your path,
I can't leave you
My dear pastoral scenes.

मेरे गाँव की रौनक भी उससे देखा ना गया
जुर्म बस मेरा था
उसने सारे गाँववालों दोषी करार दिया

Distant sounds of
Love
Dependency
Camaraderie
Understanding
Trust
Empathy and
Maturity
Cannot be described by
Ink less permanent
These unsung unaccounted for
Visitors from rural civilization
Leave their mark on the
Urbanization of the
Society today.

चक्करा गया
घर से बाहर निकला तो, घबरा गया
कुछ ना मिला, कुछ ना मिला तेरे शहर में
वापस आया अपने घर
तो चांद जमीं में पा लिया
