From drawing big
heart shapes with
the first alphabet of
our names tagged
together in it, l shifted
to drawing wild flowers
and withered leaves.
The metamorphosis of
seasons in the way I feel,
I see it on the landscape
of my rough book.

Difference of my hand writting in c.w and in rough book at practice time for exams be like:

तुम्हारे जिंदगी में मैं एक rough book जितनी अहमियत रखती हूं
जिस पर तुमने लिखा तो बहुत कुछ है..पर पढ़ना कुछ भी नही है..!!

Rough Copy…....
घिसी - पिठी handwriting मे, कुछ भी लिख दिया करते थें
कुछ अजीब से code होतें, जिन्हें सिर्फ हम समझते थें
दोस्त की कलम से एक लकीर, गलती से भी खींच जाती
उसकी कॉपी के पन्ने नक्शो से भर दिया करते थे
बीच कक्षा मे उसी में चिठ्ठी लिखा करते थे
बेर खाने चलेंगे, दोस्तो से पूछा करते थे
कुछ अच्छी बाते थीं उसमे और कुछ गालियां भी थीं
जो दोस्तो को चुपके से, बिना बोले दिया करते थें
वो Rough Copy ही तो था, जिसमे हर भाव समेटा करते थे
अपने crush से पहले प्यार तक जाने क्या क्या लिख दिया करते थे

A book, I always loved to carry
Those torn , folded pages with smudged names
A game of tic tac toe on each page
And gladness of opening it was Everytime the same

Those half solved sums
And conversations with friends
Written between the boring classes
That book carried uncountable memories of many hands

The only thing I found fascinating
And had all the memories of my school days
I still smile looking at my old rough books
Reading'em again, is where happiness fills in my heart's each nook.
