प्यास की पराकाष्ठा
है कहाँ तक
सागर से गागर तक
या नदी से नाले तक
तिजोरियों के भरने से
तरसते दाने तक
या फिर दरार पड़े
खेत-खलिहानों तक
मन की अभिलाषा से
बिखरती हर आशा तक
या कभी नहीं ख़त्म
होने वाली निराशा तक
ये प्यास ही तो है जो
जीने नहीं देती
ना हुक्मरानों को
ना संसद में बैठे बेईमानों को
और ना ही वादों की
एक और कड़वी घूंट
पीते बेबस किसानों को ।
