I was walking alone at night when
you were crossing the bridge of
poetry to make me poemless,
He was waiting for your arrival.
I wish I could see his face,
his diary and way of conjuring.
His name is on my high
My blood vaporizing dismay
Relentlessly I am desiring to meet him
Place a clue of him on my tongue
I want to taste his nature from within.

I was walking alone late at night when I saw two boys high on alcohol eve - teasing a girl and two boys who surpassed without even noticing which made me think were those two boys are the only one to be blamed but the two boys who passed without helping should be blamed too.....

Borrowed bike,
for a clichéd pose.
Rajpath road and India gate,
a walk worth the night,
to feel Delhi bright.

The MOON

I was having a very bad day,
I felt like i was moving astray.
I thought i would go out for some fresh air,
Truth to be told which was very rare.
I grabbed my jacket,
And with hands in my pocket.
Listening to song,
Which made me feel strong.
I went outside,
With darkness alongside.
I was walking alone late at night,
When i saw something very bright.
It was so high,
Beyond the sky.
With all the stars it was also abandoned,
But still it was shining like a diamond.
It helped to bring my thoughts attune,
After all it was a full MOON.

I was walking alone late at night
when I saw a blue bird sitting on
an electric pole and singing
"Channa Mereya" ; the breeze
blew through the leaves of the
trees, the close alleys, the
garbage cans, the creaking windows
as if to create the proper
background music. It was so
soothing for my broken heart,
I wondered, "How did Mother
Nature know of my breakup?
Who told her about it?"


Someone inside me whispered,
"Black Dog, Old Monk and
Jack Daniel's... "

The solitary companion

It was night and I was walking,
the empty lane was sidelined by trees.
My steps were light and quick,
yes, my heavy heart really did push me on.
I wondered whether I embraced loneliness,
or was I shrugging it off my shoulders -
As a lone traveller I couldn't be sure.
Then I saw someone out there,
Peering at me from behind the foliage.
I walked and walked, and the trees walked back.
But the one who observed me walked all along.
Why hide behind the trees I asked,
but silence was the answer, unsure of a faint smile.
When all the trees were done walking backwards,
I saw my travelling companion.
Out there in the clear night sky,
it was the moon, round and full!
It drenched me in the moonlight of love,
and dispelled all that was left of despair.
