I live in cyberspace
I inhabit virtuality.
I'm not allowed more than 140 letters,
and not getting 'likes' gives me jitters.
I don't laugh anymore, I LOL!
I don't socialise or have friends
who I can meet physically,
my existence is measured in retweets & followers, technically.
I use thesaurus to sound Victorian,
just to hide myself from being called a plebeian.
My heartbeat is the internet,
my mantra is connectivity,
my friend is my phone,
it's battery is my longevity.
My favourite pass time
is to stare at the mobile screen,
waiting for a like, a follow up or a ping.
Its been ages since I've heard a live voice sing.
For days I don't come out to see the sky or bird.
What for, I think now, for the bird is just an icon, and the inverted comma is the new 'talisman'.
I'm a netizen, a different kind of citizen,
living in virtual reality,
forever connected,
yet when dissected,
absolutely alone as an entity.

sexy, hot जैसे कॉमेंट करने को netizens की भीड़ हुई मतवाली।
पहले तो गली मोहल्लों में होती थी छेड़खानी
अब तो online भी लड़कियों को परेशान करने की ठानी।
इन्बॉक्स में message की बाढ़ आ जाती
बदनामी और viral के डर से लड़की कोई फ़ैसला नहीं ले पाती।
पहले तो लड़की घबराती थी सिर्फ़ सड़क पर चलने से
अब डरती सोशल मीडिया पर कोई पोस्ट डलने से।
सोशल मीडिया पर stalking, cyber bully जैसे होते अपराध
ज़रा सी भी असावधानी से लड़की के साथ होते बड़े विवाद।
सोशल मीडिया जैसी दुनिया में समझदारी बहुत ज़रूरी
online harassment करने वालों से बनाए रखें दूरी।
लड़की अगर भाव ना दे तो धमकी देते उसकी फ़ोटो लीक करने की
ऐसे मनचलों से डरना नहीं अब बारी है इन्हें ठीक करने की।
तुरंत ऐसे लोगों को ब्लॉक और रिपोर्ट करे
थाने में लिखाए रपट किसी कार्यवाही से ना डरे।-
