Two balloons bobbing in the wind
The breeze that tangled them up
Does little to help

The fight is to stay afloat
Dance and smile
Although
Gasping for air

Forced tugging at the mooring
Only tightens the knots


Sometimes though the breath trapped within
Fizzles
Signaling joyful release

அமைதியை தேடி

கோடி இன்பம் வாரி இறைத்திடும்

கோடையில் சாக்கடை
நீரருந்தும் குருவி -
காலன் மனிதம்

Aimless flotation
Driven by waves
Or
Stuck as doldrums -
Grind you to a halt

Grim times stretch
Like the desert
Salt and water -
Never were friends

Sometimes though a balmy breeze blows
Lugging a recalcitrant soul ashore

பாவங்களையும் புண்ணியங்களையும்
சுமந்து சென்று அடுத்த உடைக்குள் திணிக்கிறது ஆன்மா

சென்றவர் அதே உடலில் திருபுவதில்லை
திருப்புபவர் அனுபவங்களை கொணர்வதில்லை
