न सिर्फ , जलाया घोसले को हमारे ।


छीन रैन बसेरे को , बकायदे ।

उसके निशान , भी मिटा डाले ।

देखा था कुछ दिन पहले एक पक्षी
बड़ी तल्लीनता से जो अपना
घोंसला बना रहा था।
दूर-दूर से लेकर आता तिनकों को
जिस पेड़ पर वो अपने
घर को सजा रहा था।
आया जब एक तेज हवा का झोंका
वह प्यारा सा डेरा उसका
जमीं पे गिरा पड़ा था।
नहीं दिख रहा अब वह पक्षी यहाँ
शायद फिर कही और अपना
आशियाँ जुटा रहा था।।
