मौत भी हँस रही नाच रही इस कदर है,
कि अंत समय अपनों को देखना भी हुआ दुश्वार है!
जगह-जगह प्रकृति भी कर रही तांडव है,
हाय यह कैसी प्रलय यह कैसा कहर है!
पाप बढ़ा है जब जब अंत पापी का हुआ अवश्य है,
हे मानव सुधर जा संभल जा अब भी वक्त है!
वरना इस संपूर्ण धरा का पूर्ण विनाश निकट है !!

ऐ क़ुदरत, ये तो बता, तेरे कितने इम्तिहान बाकी है।
सबकुछ हो रहा बर्बाद; कहने को बस जान बाकी है।
