On the bike,
she's not defined by gender,
but by the exhilaration of speed
and the freedom of the open road.-
Sometimes, I ponder over the
secluded beauty of those sheeny stars,
When the tiny sheen of stardust
falls upon my imperfect poetry,
A strong aroma of the sparkles
and metaphors caught up together,
enriched with its charismatic glint
and shimmer, completing the
patchy voids of my poetry and
letting its glitter to rest upon my
incomplete words.-
Mind is wild but heart is tamed,
Restrictions are own, cage is vain.
Thoughts are whimsical
but feelings are banned.
Tell me which beast you're hiding inside?-
Her decaying poems were fertilizers
of her tremulous quill,
sobbing the black truth trembling
with deep dimples of death.-
Darlin', under summer's blazing sun,
I begged you, apply sunscreen,a thousand and one!
But you, like a lobster, turned red instead,
Who knew SPF could fill you with dread?
In the heat of our summer escapade,
We sizzled like bacon, oh what a charade!
Wrapped in your arms, feeling the heat,
I swear, my dear, it's not a treat!
No cloud dared to shade our burning skin,
No bird sang a song that wasn't a din,
In this season of sunburn, you and me,
Made a love story, a comedy, you see!
And then he said, let's make a pact,
In this summer love, we'll protect our backs!
And if we turn into crispy fries,
At least we'll have laughter, under the skies!-
I still cannot forget
The frivolous ribbons
of a frenzied bond
Folding itself in stacks within
the curls of my intellect
Tampering with the attuned
pursuits of my mind
Converging all my musings
to a moribund state
And prying the wishes
of my eager heart
Until this mayhem broke out
A macabre string of regrets
And they called it poetry-
