चंद सिक्के ही थे मेरी पहली कमाई में
मां ने ऐसे संभाला मानो
हीरे जवाहरात उनके कदमों में रखें हों।

My first salary gave me confidence,
That I am financially independent,
Such a pleasure to buy clothes,
Family members who enjoyed most.
Siblings were given token of love,
Friends enjoyed treat in a restaurant,
Now no stress that who will pay the bill,
Birthday gifts were not a big deal.
Movie tickets were not beyond reach,
Siblings' wish were always fulfilled.
Such a pleasure when pocket was full,
It seemed as if nothing was impossible.

Gives a satisfaction
of life,
Makes my parents
proud,
Bliss in my family's
needs...

Unforgettable feeling
On receiving
Sense of pride
Shoulders high
Feeling of achievement
Sky high

When I gave my first salary
To my father, he added a rupee
To it and gave back to me as his blessings
That day is unforgettable to me...

This is the moment
when I give it my Father
It's my first little gift for you ✉️
In FATHERS DAY .

Back in those days,
I mastered my art in clay.

I could mold it into any shape,
And create a nice drape.

Once in a college funfair,
My work was displayed along with some fare.

There I received an order from a huge network,
Where I began my journey of work.

After working day and night and burning a lot of calories,
I delivered my order and earned my first salary.
