While one had bowls full of it till heart content and stomach full;
the other would find her heart, stomach and soul contented and full, seeing the first one.

The vanishing lusters,
Of her dismounting hair,

Gleam with a beady dew,
As her memories slice,
Through the days I grew.

The year was 1996. I was a 7 year old cranky kid who hated homework and loved playing gully cricket with my new bat tattooed with a handmade MRF sticker. One evening, I had a lot of homework and my mother didn't let me go play. I pleaded. One hour ma. Just one. She didn't listen. I started crying. She didn't budge. I started throwing my books around. Ma grabbed hold of my ears and said, "If you dont behave, maar maar ke halwa bana dungi." (I will make a halwa out of you by beating!)

I started crying once again. Louder this time. "Mummy, halwa khana hai." It's been so long since I had halwa. My mother left me as I was and rushed to the kitchen. Ten minutes later, I was devouring steamy halwa and she was finishing my homework.
Mothers, I tell you. ;)

An adorably congregated couple, trying to embark on the first steps of their marriage, usually fall hysterically for each other, when they start shying away from the faults of their partner. Conflicting opinions are rare in such scenarios, but when asked about the gender preference of their future child, the female one would prefer a male child and vice versa. The reason, solely because, she would adore to witness a glimpse of his unexplored past, through the mannerisms and faults of her baby boy and vice versa. Ultimately, son and mother bond, daughter and father bond outshines the couple's bond and a family gleams on the surface.

A whole new dimension of existence would have dawned with compassionate and hospitable human beings, if soul transfers could be scientifically possible. Perceptional revelations would be a common trend when men would walk through the lives of women going through the phases of menstruation, pregnancy and childbirth. The generations of that era would then be more courteous, admirable, rearing and respectful towards women compared to the stained history.
