Let Me Tell You
A mirror need i never,
Let your eyes be the ones
To recognise my virtues and flaws,
Also my blemishes and Rosy colour.
Sweet nectar wish I never,
You pour the words of love
Into the goblet of my thirsty heart,
Today, tomorrow and forever.
For adornment greedy I'm never,
Beautify my lips with your warm kiss
Let me blossom for you, like
A mesmerizing, fragrant flower.
I know no love unaccompanied
By truth, trust and self-sacrifice, and
When you, having all these, hold a mirror,
Any pretentious hug, do I ever need!
