Clearing jungles and forest
With the intention of development.
Poor application of knowledge and
experience of undercutting slopes.
Leading to loosening of soil, rocks and undergrowth.
Occurrence of heavy downpour leads to landslide.
Causing lives and destruction.
Landslide occurrence are mainly caused by negligence and greed of humans.

ഉറക്കം സാധ്യമാവത്തൊരു
വാർത്തകൾ, നൊമ്പരങ്ങൾ...

Distrubed by storms, beaten by rocks, and killed by a landslide,

Happens when you try to climb the mountains that are hollow inside.

Your smile,
like the wildflower
upon a high mountain,
snow covered and fragile,
settles on my searching gaze,
from afar in my cottage,
urges me to take the climb
lest it succumbs to the
rising sun and the
rumbling soil beneath.

आज फिर एक भूचाल आया है इस जीवन में,
तो चलो ये बसेरा यूँही कहीं और ले जाएँ !!

After a long climb, when I look back,
I see the stretch scathed, bruised and chaffed
from paying no heed to misgivings
about resisting my ascent.
The landslide at the foot of the mountain is
a reminder of how audacious my feet are
in touching the alps lining the skies.

फर्क नही पड़ता
कि उसके आंसुओं के सैलाब में
कितने जानें और उसने अपने खोए
ये उसके अपने थे भी या नही
जिन्होंने उसके बनाई हुई
और धरोहर, जीवन और संवेदना को
तार तार कर रहे थे
अपने भूख और स्वार्थ में
प्रकृति के जीवों का
उपहास कर कर रहे थे
इस धरा सुंदरी के आंचल में
अपने ख़्वाब और अंधधार्मिक प्रयोजनों के खातिर
प्रकृति को सिर्फ साधन मात्र समझा
न हीं कभी कृतज्ञ हुए और न हीं क्षमा याचना
सिर्फ किया तो कुषित छलावा
अतः प्रकृति भी व्यथा तुम्हें ऐसे हीं दिखेगी...

I become attentive when
the clock shows her arriving time.
And she knows so well I am waiting for that
Still she delays her arriving and tests my patience
Today I want to give her flower and want to
take a step forward
Look! She still hasn't arrived yet
Soon you will see a landslide of my patience.
