नींद उड़ा के वो रात भर तड़पाता है
न जाने ये रिश्ता क्या कहलाता है।

दिन खराब करके रात बर्बाद कराता है
बेचैनी ऐसी की अब सहा नहीं जाता है।

वो अपनी ऊर्जा का गलत इस्तेमाल करे
मर के भी न जीने दे वो ऐसा हाल करे।

रात को अपनी ताकत दिखा छिप जाता है
किसका काला साया है जो नहीं जाता है।

काले जादू से निकला है पीछे पीछे आता है
शक्तिहीन करके मुझको मौत को ले जाता है।

इच्छा जीने की खत्म करे धीरे धीरे करे तबाह
समझ न आए क्या हुआ दिल से निकले आह।

ऐसी ही जी जी के मौत को गले लगाता है
जीते जी न जी सका मर के वो जी जाता है।

As I'm not blessed to deserve it..
I'll be torn and lost
In the turbulent thoughts
Frozen solid
Like permafrost..
Blessed is he who sleeps well,
With no overthinking brain to compell..
There would be suffering
Eerie wish and tell..
For some -
Sleep is not merry
But sweet-ish hell....

Un pal do pal ki yaad me bas kyu zindagi bhar ka gum dekr chale gye
