The wiser you become, the more you embrace silence.

The more you are comfortable in being alone.

The less is the need to explain and people-please.

Silently, growing away from things that don’t feel true to you.

The endless seeking and striving ceases and you get more confident in being who you are.

Enjoy the process of growing old,

As the years go by, and time you have left in hand becomes more and more limited,

Chaos also linearly reduces.

Its not about which phase is right or wrong, more wonderful or less terrible,

It’s just about your life and your age catching up to you.

Let it happen. Grow into it. Become your new age.

Be like water and keep adapting to the shape of any vessel that you find yourself poured in.

~growing old is not scary; it’s comforting and coming to terms with the true reality of you and your life

Thirty

How can I find someone when I'm myself lost
and trying to find ME
How can I become someone's better half
when I first want to be fully ME
My bucket list is still covered in dust in the old locker
And all I see now are wedding cards in my drawer
People age same chronologically but not emotionally or mentally
So why compare me to others unnecessarily?
Let me live for myself once,
before pushing me over someone
Society please hv some patience,
Coz 30 is no longer a retirement age for women
I want to live the life I missed in my 20s
I want to "turn my 30's into my new 20s"

I like growing old
It's making me understand
So many things which I have been thinking
In a very different way earlier
It helps to not fight with anyone
Though I never fought with anyone
Apart from my mom and my life
I have started less expecting from people
And more from me
I don't want anyone's time
Except from my life again
I don't want to achieve anything
But to gain experiences and fullfillness
Hidden in those things
I don't scare loosing people
As I learn how to be happy with memories
I didn't stop dreaming
But I stopped blaming

As you grow older, your energy doesn't just decrease like time. It also starts becoming expensive same as your time.
So spend both wisely.

Growing Old!

I bought a car, in time it grew old and had to be sold.
I bought a house, in time (a little longer though) I was told, it might fold
I looked above at the Sun burning bright - it was burning all right - in time(in eons maybe) I can be bold,
To say it will burn out cold!

I ask then,"Does everything grow Old and fold?"

The answer comes "I AM old, but never grow old!"

If being matured means portraying the perfect picture with fake smiles, I am not going to be matured not even in the next hundred years.

I was afraid of growing old. In a year, I will be 30, and isn't 30s the most fearsome event of anyone's life? I WAS afraid. But, no more. When you learn how to live life, 20s, 30s, 40s are just numbers. You know there is time, and there is life, and you go out there to seize it. Many people around me go through the process of ageing, but only few "grow" old... So it must mean something, right?

We are 90's generation-

1. The only generation who seen the letters changing to mobiles phones and then smartphones.

2. The only generation who obey what their parents say without arguing back.

3. Believe in adjusting with our elders as well as younger people.

4. When it comes to love we are the last generation who believes in the stability and long time relationships, unlike now to whom the relationships are become easier to make and break.

Yes, we are the 90's generation and growing old now. Facing challenges to cope up with the new generation's thoughts and our old parent's thoughts.
