It’s not easy to hold onto each other forever. You have to choose each other daily and keep the love fresh. Let the company age, but let the moments always feel new.

Year after year
we don't get old,
we are the same age
for long not stuck
but the person we hold,
for so long I was fifteen
not a child or a teen
I did grow as an adult yet
at heart I am not
my age-old, and even
at thirty I wasn't but
one fine day afterwards
I became thirty by heart
I may or may not look
one but I behave
as an adult who realized
how many responsibilities
she holds, I know
I won't be fifteen again
and neither I wonder
how long I will be this old,
yes some days I don't want
to be an adult I want someone
else to be the one, however
I do love and some days I don't
the person now I hold, and
today one more year changed
although I haven't yet
hoping to enjoy it until it does
living one day at a time
and find how life unfolds.

And suddenly you realise you have grown old . While other times you happily embrace it, there’s one such moment when you feel you have just let time slip by in between the hustles and juggles of life. It hits you so hard that everything around you just seems to be worthless even your efforts all these years.

When you left without looking back
A piece of me went along the track
I stood there alone in the cold
Memories of us, now growing old
I searched for you in every crack
But you were gone, without turning back.

ACCEPT the PROCESS
of AGING GRACEFULLY ....

I spoke to life today, it said
'The funniest thing about growing up is,
The mind and body never agree'

The wiser you become, the more you embrace silence.

The more you are comfortable in being alone.

The less is the need to explain and people-please.

Silently, growing away from things that don’t feel true to you.

The endless seeking and striving ceases and you get more confident in being who you are.

Enjoy the process of growing old,

As the years go by, and time you have left in hand becomes more and more limited,

Chaos also linearly reduces.

Its not about which phase is right or wrong, more wonderful or less terrible,

It’s just about your life and your age catching up to you.

Let it happen. Grow into it. Become your new age.

Be like water and keep adapting to the shape of any vessel that you find yourself poured in.

Thirty

How can I find someone when I'm myself lost
and trying to find ME
How can I become someone's better half
when I first want to be fully ME
My bucket list is still covered in dust in the old locker
And all I see now are wedding cards in my drawer
People age same chronologically but not emotionally or mentally
So why compare me to others unnecessarily?
Let me live for myself once,
before pushing me over someone
Society please hv some patience,
Coz 30 is no longer a retirement age for women
I want to live the life I missed in my 20s
I want to "turn my 30's into my new 20s"

It's making me understand
So many things which I have been thinking
In a very different way earlier
It helps to not fight with anyone
Though I never fought with anyone
Apart from my mom and my life
I have started less expecting from people
And more from me
I don't want anyone's time
Except from my life again
I don't want to achieve anything
But to gain experiences and fullfillness
Hidden in those things
I don't scare loosing people
As I learn how to be happy with memories
I didn't stop dreaming
But I stopped blaming
