Fifty shades of grey,
between all that
black and white,
between all that's
dark and bright.

You crave for the binary.
A coin toss.
A 0 or a 1.
You dwell on the extremes.

But this world's a palette.
And you're the blank canvas.
You are blinded by the spectrum,
blinded to those fifty shades of grey.

Might I remind you,
Grey is not just
in between black & white.
But a blend of both.

Not quite a white
But is very close
Not quite a black
Almost I suppose

Grey portrays calm
In between moods
In the middle area
The emotion eludes

Every other color is weak? In the sight of this overcoming one, who is silver tried!

Y? No more hail and storms? For this colour is a waving flag upon the moon.

I went to your house again but could not find you. But I am happy that you reply to my letters. I don't know how do you look like, but I want to tell how I am. I don't know if you have seen me or not.

The black in me is blacker than the black, and the white is whiter than the white. You may find the darker side of me darker than your darker side and the brighter side in me brighter than the brighter side in you. I am still exploring the various shades of grey in me.

Grey is a shade to be most adored.
Not because it comes after the dark night as dawn
Or before the starry sky as dusk but
For it is the shade between good and bad,
Truth and lie, right and wrong, happy and sad,
Peace and chaotic, noise and silence
And numerous dichotomies we don't know how to handle.
And we have that grey spot waiting to be relied Upon, when we have the control over situations, die.
So it's more than 'a darker shade of light' or 'a lighter shade of dark',
Nay, it's the balance line between white and black.
It in itself is a contrast and a whole existence that any other colour lacks
