That one pause in a song you
like, space in between words
and stanzas of our poems

moments of flashback of
memories, seconds of eye
contact in conversations

hours of staring at the ceiling,
gaps when our fingers intertwine

All these empty spaces fill our
emptiness with nothingness
You and I are mostly empty
Mostly nothing
