चलो इस दिवाली कुछ नया-सा करते हैं।

अपने घर हर साल दिया जलाते हैं,
इस दिवाली कुछ नया-सा करते हैं।
लाइट तो हर साल लगाते हैं,
इस बार किसी छोटी-सी दुकान से लाते हैं।।

इस बार मिठाई ज्यादा खरीद कर,
अपनों में मिठास बढ़ाते हैं।
मन में हो कोई गिले-शिकवे अगर,
तो भुलाकर उन्हें सबको गले-से लगाते हैं।।

"શુભ દીપાવલી"
અંતઃકરણ શુદ્ધ કરી દિલથી દિવા પ્રગટાવજો,
અંદરની તેજસ્વી જ્યોતનો ઉજાસ પાથરજો.
સાથિયા, તોરણથી દરવાજા સજાવજો,
આંગણે રંગબેરંગી ફુલોની રંગોળી કરજો.
ફાયર ક્રેકરની જેમ ફુલફટાક તૈયાર થાજો,
સ્મિતના સુશોભન સાથે દિવાળી પર્વ મનાવજો.
