ನನ್ನೊಳಗಿನ ಕವಯತ್ರಿ ನಿಷ್ಕ್ರಿಯಳಾಗಿಹಳು,ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ.
ಉದ್ಭವಿಸದಾಗಿದೆ ಹೊಸ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳು, ಮತಿಗೆ.
ಅನುಕ್ಷಣವು ಬರೆವ ಹಂಬಲವು ಮನಕೆ,
ಆದರೂ ಏನೂ ತೋಚದಲ್ಲ ಏತಕೆ!
ಸಮಯವಿದೆ ವಿಪರೀತ, ಆದರೂ ಬಿಡುವಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ,
ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶೀಲತೆಯೂ ತುಕ್ಕು ಹಿಡಿದಂತೆ.
ಕಾಲಹರಣಕಿದ್ದರೂ ನೂರಾರು ದಾರಿ,
ದೇಹದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈಗ ಮನಸ್ಸೂ ಸೋಂಬೇರಿ.
ಸಮಯವೇ ಇರಬಹುದೇನೋ ಇದಕೆಲ್ಲ ಕಾರಣ,
ಅದೆಂತಾಗುವುದೋ ಈ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳ ಹರಣ.
ಸಾವು-ನೋವಿನಾ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಎಣಿಸುವುದಷ್ಟೇ ಆಗಿದೆ ಬದುಕು,
ಕಡಿವಾಣ ಬಿದ್ದಿದೇ ಬೇರೆ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗೆಲ್ಲವಕು.
ಅಂತ್ಯವಾಗಲಿ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಮಹಮಾರಿ ಕೊರೋನ,
ಸುಗಮವಾಗಲಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಸರ್ವರ ಜೀವನ.

I stand gazing at the clouds passing by,
Yes, and I heave a sigh,
Sigh that certain issues are made large,
we are unable to judge or gauge
the meaning of their actions.
It requires only a fraction
of indifference to unstabilise the gullible ,
those who came to succour and are capable
of bringing warmth and calm,
to those turbulent minds ,can act as a balm.
But still, the silence is disturbing to say the least,
For our confusions grow like a soaked yeast.
Anyway, the BIG MAN is watching,
So, let us not clip our wings !
