மயில் ஒன்று எனை மயக்கியது ,
இக்குயில் கவிபாட, உலகமே மயங்கியது அம்மயிலைத் தவிர...
I was Impressed by a Peacock.
Then this Cuckoo (me)
sung a song..
That song impressed many hearts, except that peacock...

I understand now, the
Hardest part for me has always
Been not being able to find music
In a shriek.
The cuckoo is shrieking.

Somewhere in between
twilight and dawn―
under the purple skies,
a solitary cuckoo croons
his song of love and hope.

I lay awake
pretending to ignore the world.

My lips are like
Jacobin cuckoo;
they are waiting
and waiting to
taste only your lips,
just like the cuckoo
waits only for rain
drops to slake its thirst.

कोयल तुम इतनी प्यारी हो
तुम काली हो,पर
मिसरी में घुली लाली हो
कोयल तुम कितनी प्यारी हो..
तुम कूक-कूक कर सबको बोली हो
हर दिशा महके, जैसे
वसन्त में फूलों की होली हो
कोयल तुम कितनी भोली हो..
तेरी कूक से कोपल - कलियां भी डोली हो
तेरी सुर मधुर लुभानी जैसे
जग के सारे फलियों में
मिठी - मिठी प्याली हो
कोयल तुम कितनी मतवाली हो..
डाल - डाल पर फुदक - फुदक कर
हवाओं में अपने धुन को बिखेरने वाली हो
कोयल तुम मिठी बोली वाली हो
कोयल तुम मिसरी में घुली लाली हो...

Light of music arise with your voice,
Day of music rises with chatter channel billed cuckoo.
Start the day with hot coffee
Whether it's cappuccino,
My day start at dawn,
Whether with a "hello" .
"Hello" acts as antidote,
To spent as luxuriate.
Breeze flowed around,
Freeze figure abound.

Hey, cuckoo
I wish you " Good morning"

Enchanted we are by the cuckoo's sweet croons,
The promises it sings of rain for every cloud that travels above,
Turning blind to its deceit, for the time it hijacked the nest of crow;
The sound of harsh truth appalls our closed minds,
And here we go dancing again to the familiar tune of lies.

I looked out of the window.
Window that opened in concrete forest.
Forest made of bricks and stone.
Stone hearts have the people.
People who live here.
Here in these lifeless clusters.
Clusters called as home.
Home or just shanties where life dies.
Dies along the hope.
Hope to hear a song of cuckoo.
Cuckoo! Oh cuckoo! Where do you live?
