I sit to study a few theories
about why birds chirp in
during those early morning hours,
they term it by any 'dawn chorus',
purpose it by the virtue of 'warning signals'
and often reflect it as an 'etiquette'.

a songbird in meantime enters my room
through the window, behind my desk
peeking mirror of the dressing table
whooping it all up by trills
I dare not make a move, idle as I sit
any movement would have been to stir
it out, I suppose, the dawn chorus?
warning signal? or a protocol?

awfully chirpy for no reason, maybe.

Sprinkler of shadows,
treating the flowers and leaves,
Same at all...
The hearts are not blooming,
Not sad though,
But find a mid way
In reduced chirping call,
Switch the sweat in shiver,
Making the light
To stay a long indoor,
Wet, cloudy and also
Rainy sometimes,
It's the autumn
The bliss to a child...
Just like a pretty doll.
