I spray on the scent
of niceness overzealously,
To hide the stench of guilt
reeking from me;
Small talk stretched into
dissection of stray talks,
Just to keep away the
conversation from landing on me,
I measure the words carefully,
giving exact pauses in between,
Not more, not less,
No leeway to read
between the lines,
For it's in between the lines
where my story always resides;
I am cautious not to look up
straight into the eyes,
Lest my truth be exposed
for the world to see;
Before falling into the
arms of sleep every night,
I try to cleanse my conscience
off the soot,
I scrub and I scrub,
yet a small blemish
refuses to fade away,
To haunt me with nightmares,
this mark will always stay.

while to mention bad things about that one, takes a milliseconds..
this doesn't mean that, 'that one' is bad..
it's the psychology of the describing person..
who rejoices on seeing one dark spot on a clean white board..
