Clothes And Ladies

Why is buying clothes such a task? I guess variety muddles you. A whole array of colours, patterns & styles, a recipe for disaster for most moms. They might be efficient multitaskers, so too are most working ladies. Yet, when it comes to clothing, want trips up need. Something beautiful catches your eye.

Which to your horror, wasn't made to fit you. Buying clothes opens a can of shame and agony. Shame at not being shaped to wear everything. Agony of seeing thinner people. Then, you come across clothes you dare not wear. Judgements, insecurity, being conscious of skin show stop you. You return home scared, anxious and broken wishing you were someone else.

For you to show me some dismay

Bridges are meant to cross
Some easy, some seem gross

Still you try to possess the array.

Dear Me,

You know there are some books,
Where every sentence is a quote.
Every word has a deep profound meaning when read alone or together.
Your eyes remind me of those array of words - strong, weak, vulnerable and emotional all at the same time!!

how do I pen down
our twisted love
in a straight array?
