The Wind

Uprooted eco-friends,
And some hundreds of circumferences
of shade shattered into pieces, and
cracks being seen on walls,
the roaring wind brought amusement
to some and havoc for all.
As my eyes reaches alleyways,
I see concrete lane covered in green.
I sigh, as we lost our natural sheen.
In daylight the darkness is still breathing.
The rainbow after the storm,
may appeared but for beings living up in floor.
I never knew until today,
the price of life that we are living.
In the silence of daybreak, that distinct
sound of the wind is still haunting.

Empathy can replace care
when people are far and cannot do much
when words of prayers reach
the one who needs more than that
may not be enough but can boost
the moral and spirit to fight on

আমফানের দাপটে, ছিটকে মুখ থুবড়ে শহুরে বিলাসিতা থেকে অনেকটা দূরে, যেখানে অ্যান্ড্রয়েড স্ক্রিনের আলোয় চোখ পচেনা, যেখানে বিদ্যুতের বাতি জ্বলেনা, যেখানে মোবাইল নেটওয়ার্ক অস্তিত্বহীন দিন কাটায়, যেখানে লক্ষ লক্ষ গাছ নিজেদের শহীদ করেছে ঝড়ের সামনে নিজের সবটুকু দিয়ে,সেখানে দাঁড়িয়ে আজকের বিধ্বস্ত বাংলা কে দেখলে চোখে জল আসে, ঝড়ের রাক্ষুসে গোঙানি যেন কান পাতলে এখনও শোনা যায়। সেই শ্মশানপুরীর ধ্বংস স্তূপ থেকেই বাংলা আবার সেরে উঠবে বাঙালির অদম্য আত্মবিশ্বাস এবং আন্তরিক ভালোবাসায়, কারণ বাঙালিরা কখনো হারতে শেখেনি !!
