Even nonsense makes some sense;

You become blind, I suppose.

my father's lips.
what i see can never know
what i speak.
my sight never knows
my kisses.
my tears never know
my mother tongue.

my eyes never touch my lips.
but they are still together.
they share their distance.
like my mother and father.

so why would this

not be love.
