कैसे मिलेंगे फ़िर वो लम्हें कुर्बत के,
चाहत भरे रूमानी और सोहबत के,

कैसे है ये अजीब फैसले गफलत के,
इश्क़ के कुछ लम्हें भी है रहमत के...

मेरे इस जिगर के फ़िगार का मलहम कोई कहां करेगा,
जब याद आएंगे बीते दिन कल्ब बेसाख़्ता तड़प उठेगा।

बिखर ही गई ज़िंदगी इस बार भी,
जितनी बार जोड़ा है उतनी बार
हारने का ज़रिया बन गया
एक सवाल।।
