The Contrarian Indians

I get exasperated at ourselves,
at the capacity of being contrarians
when least expected.

Here are few examples...

Of all the things we are known for,
being contrary is an art that we have perfected.
We act, behave and think
ignoring everything that is said.
We often dismiss rules & take wrong turns with dare,
where the sign says "No Right Turn" here.
The work is normally at regress,
where the sign post says "Work in Progress"
Where the sign post says "No Entry",
a rush of adrenaline says "Immediately".
Those who refrain are the weak
and spineless,
the brave ones surely trespass
regardless.
The pedestrian crossing the road
is a braveheart act,
kindly cross if you have signed with
God, a Mercy Pact.
People in hurry park
at a "No Parking Zone".
The great machismo is in
turning left while giving the right indicator.
We are so proud of ourselves that
the person in front of us in queue becomes invisible.
To ignore sign-post & rules in plain sight,
such my friend is our hereditary right.
It is here that the illiterate & the educated become one,
We,the people of India
Tryst with our Contrarian
Destiny in Unison.

Often in love, being stupid pays off..
Not every brave man gets the love of his life.
I used to silently admire her from a distance,
a distance which was close enough but too far to reach.
She had a name but I called her destiny,
my destiny because all roads led me to her.
Every morning of mine was filled with her beautiful thoughts and those dim lit evenings brought me even closer.
The dark nights were seldom spent alone as I had her for company. Maybe this feeling of virtual togetherness was my tryst with destiny.

Who trust selves, miracle only happens with him.

"Twisted sunshine, broken dreams....
Sometimes i wanna give them another try...
I shed my tears and in unison they...
Men don't cryyyyyyy......"
Time before dawn,
And a song i wrote for myself.
I am awake since 27 hours.
Someone here is singing out loud at this time of the night. I can hear a taxi passing by this building. For the first time today bengal made me shiver. And yes the reason was the weather.
Tonight as i try to look beyond the clouds of fear and blocks, i find a beautiful thing. Art.
I have never been able to describe art. I have never been able to define it.
Art for me is anything takes me away from this world, be it a person, a place, a written text or a movie.. anything.
Nowadays, when i read authors and watch old movies on my laptop, i realize that art back then was much more free.

He looked so appealing
As a complete handsome hunk
Every word he spoke gave a happy feeling
Redirecting me to my goal!
His words were filled with sweet and honey
While his body language had all the cream.
The journey with him was a joyous one
Where every action gave me immense beam!
He is the master of everything
And the captain of my soul
I dare not question his work
For I know his choices are the best as a whole!
Oh geek!I am living in the spoilt era
With my soul flying high
Carrying the memories of the encounter
When a drop of smile fell upon me from the sky!

"We the People of India..."
Is the starting line of our constitution which we have solemnly given to ourselves.
Masses as we say now is not the correct way of seeing people.
People have been the source of India's freedom.
Our Freedom has not been one person's luxury.
People in the form of masses,army,freedom fighters,social workers etc have realised the tryst with destiny.

Calendars could not keep the tryst,
In the dirty Destiny's dreary heist;
I still linger in the labyrinths of Love,
As she danced on alien tunes hand in glove!

TRUST
Some time a little thing can hurt
It not the way you have treated but
for forever their trust towards
You have lost

Whatever is written in your destiny it will surely happen but with your hard work and perseverance you can make it more better!!
