रेल हम पकड़ चुके हैं।
मंज़िल वहीं ले जा रही है
तारीख अब करीब आ रही है।
वो शहर फिर पुकार रहा है
दिल जरा सा फिर घबरा रहा है।

भले ही परेशान चेहरे लिए जायेंगे
मुस्कान को साथ लौटा कर लाएंगे।
एक दूजे का हाथ थामे हम चल पड़े हैं
ऐ-मंज़िल देख हमारे हौसले अब भी खड़े हैं।

मै हर पल मरता हूँ
अपने हाथ से अपनी मौत
का इंतजाम करता हूं
मैं कैंसर हूं

लोग सद्भावना देने आते हैं
क्या मेरे दर्द और कष्ट को समझ पाते है

सिगरेट और तंबाकू को उन्हें मना किया था
काश उनकी थोड़ी बात सुन लेता
अपनी जिंदगी और मौत में से ज़िन्दगी चुन लेता

देखो मेरे को कैंसर है
मुंह से खून आना इसका असर है

अब तो दवाइयां भी बेअसर हो चुकी है
डॉक्टर ने कहा है अब तो थोड़ी बहुत ही सांसे बची है

सिगरेट पीके कभी लगता था यह है जन्नत
घरवाले खुदा के आगे कर रहे हैं मेरे बचने की मिन्नत

मेरे को एक रास्ता चुनना है
मुझे ज़िन्दगी और मौत
में से एक सफर तय करना है

Physically tired!
Mentally exhausted!
Emotionally drained!
Still I tell my heart - You need to go miles before you stop!
