For people.
For winged birds,
Love is in a tree

A tree which houses their nest
With branches reaching out to crest

It is here, their little one
Take its leap of faith
To fly into the land
Beyond borders
Beyond hope
Beyond which
Human's humanity can cope

Borders are for hatred
Made with the mud of self
Cemented by Id
Borders punish past
Take an eye for an eye
Like the rest of the world Did

If needed
Jump you must
To feel
The wind behind the wings
The wind that overseas borders
The wind that lets you nest
Like a bird
Unscathed by lines of war
The winds that say,
Borders are love turned sour.

You see the borders & cultures,
I see the heaven which awaits our togetherness...!!

I see farms and lands
Through the window
And I only see
Green, brown and lime

Maybe it's the speed of the train
Or distance of the tracks
I could not see the borders
Made by time

Then how do people know
Where to draw the line?

For whatever reasons
a house need walls,doors
windows , locks ;
a city needs limits &
a country borders,
We too need all of these
for the very same reasons !

मैं इन अश्कों से एक दीया जलाऊँगा
संवेदनाओं से जुड़े मेरे इस वतन को

मैं नीले में ज़रा सा हरा मिलाऊँगा
सरहदों से बटा है मेरा मन
तन से ही सही दोनो वतनों को साथ लाऊँगा
मंदिर हो या मस्जिद
हर जगह इंकलाब गाऊँगा
हिन्दू न मुसलमान
मैं इस देश की माटी से एक इंसान बनाऊँगा
कोई कह दे ज़रा एक बार
मैं चाँद के उस पार जाऊँगा
उतार कर तिरंगा
मैं अपने लिए एक हिजाब सिलवाऊँगा
फुर्सत हो तो बताना
तुम्हे मैं एक बात बताऊँगा
