You ceremoniously call me on way to the metro from your home, and on the way back. Morning and evening. It’s a five minutes walk and this everyday ritual when going to and coming back from office is now a habit. I told you that I’m like your personal rickshawallah, always available to pick you up with my words and drop you five minutes later. To and fro.
Today, you told that you’re moving with your family to a new apartment, a fancier 3BHK on the second floor (from the current one on the ground floor) from Jan and our ritual would most likely end with the dying year. The metro is a kilometer away and you might actually have to hire a personal rickshawallah henceforth. Unprepared for this news, I only had one question: ‘Unlike now, will your room have a balcony in the new house?’ You asked: ‘It does but why? So that we could talk on phone more often?’
So you could maybe write me a balcony letter someday, I wished to say but this is all I ended up saying: ‘No, so that this forgotten rickshawallah can be seen on the road sometimes.’-

It's been 10 years now since you've been insanely in love with this awesome man. Does he love you with the same intensity as he did in 2017? Does he still read your mind within a few minutes of your disquiet? Does he still tell you after every few minutes that you're pretty? Does he still make you mad when he doesn't speak out his mind immediately when you confront his confusion? Does he still like everything you do? Does he still hold your hand and swing it unconsciously? Do his eyes still bring in the coffee time in the mornings?
I am sure you both have kept all of this alive. I'm sure your love has only grown in the last 10 years!
