I sang, I drew
I drank, I danced
I watched, I glanced
I thanked, I cried
I gave up, I tried
I read, I wrote
I worked, I hoped
I smiled, I wondered
I lost, I conquered

Oh let me

and take a breath
for this air ain't
coming again.
The air was windy
at times
and took me to places
unseen, unknown
which made me learn,
made me grow.
Yet I can't complain
that it wasn't refreshing

దీపావళి పండుగనాడు
దీపాలు కొండఎక్కునని నీవు ఎడవకే
దీపమై అయ్యి, దారిని చూపిస్తా
జ్ఞాపకమల్లే నీకు నలుగు రాసిన
నీ నీడనై పాలు పట్టా ..

నీ కొండ అంత ఊహ, కింద పడి ఈ చిన్నోడు ఊరుకోచి
తన గూటిలో, గుడి గంట కూర్చున్నదే

మళ్ళీ మళ్ళీ నీవు పుట్టి
నాలో నీ ఆశను ప్రేమతో పెంచి
ప్రేమ అనే కులము, పుట్టిన వారికే అని
బంధాలను మేఘాలు ఎత్తుకెళ్ళి, బుడిదై కురిసేనమ్మ వర్షము

బుడి బుడి అడుగులకు, పరుగులతో ఏమి పని
గాజులు గళ్ళు మంటే, ఆగిపోకు భయం వేసి
కాళివై నీవుంటే, అలసట రాదింక

ఊరుమే గసిరిందో, మేఘమే విసిరిందో
నువ్వు కింద పడి, నేలనెంత గిచావో
పట్టుకొని నీ చేయి, ఎగిరిపోకే పాపాయి
