Dear November,
You're flying off like a bird from a flock of 12 while the rest is still perched on an electric cable with memories and lessons to impart. You've left no clue just so I know you're migrating to a warmer place for I couldn't set a proper fire place for you to lax by, and it's getting admittedly colder here with each passing day. You've barely left your foot prints to mark your presence on my calendar. It has always been a barren terrain with little to no potential to produce except for me a few decades ago.
I'm steeling myself to garner enough valour to withstand the hit of a ton of bricks suspended from the ceiling of December. A brick a day is probably what I can sustain.



From a baby born in your lap

Dear 2020,

Had you been a person, you would have been the black sheep of the family. I understand it’s not your fault, timing is a bitch! It could have been some other year, right? But guess what you will be remembered forever as a chapter in history. You need not be proud of giving everyone a hard time and creating history out of it. As we are about to bid farewell to you,this is my memoir of 2020-
1. People can turn just into numbers. Sometimes you won’t even get a chance to say a final good bye. Be horribly straightforward and stop pretending to be insensitive, tell the people you love what they mean to you. You never know when the bus is coming to hit us!
2. You don’t plan your life, because it can’t be planned. You plan and life can dispose it off. Life happens (just like love) and you learn to deal with it and most importantly live and cherish it till it lasts.

I don’t know from where I should start. Should I start with your childhood? Or with the days you came to your in-laws after marriage? Or since the days I started knowing you. No matter from where I start, you always stood out in each scenario, in each role. Actually, you kind of retained your individuality no matter the circumstance.

My dear favourite people,

I don't remember the day I met each one of you. But, does it even matter what, when and how? What matters is how we connected and went from strangers to people comfy with each other.

At first, talking about my own self and all that I am was kinda weird and awkward. Now it is as though, I have known you two since a long time. Even our worst jokes make us laugh like crazy.

Sharing worries, mistakes and happiness we grew into a family of sorts. Love and affection pouring out in every message shared, every quote appreciated. I know meeting up is not in our hands.

Most people won't even believe how friendship can be sustained over long distances and different cultures. I am glad to prove this very notion wrong with our love, care and support. Lots of love.
