एक उम्र गुजारी;

माँ के दिये पैसे,
कभी गुल्लक में न गये,
गये तो सिर्फ दुकान पर,
खुशियाँ खरीदने,,
जो गुल्लक में जरूर जाती थीं,
और बढ़ती रहती थीं,,

मजाल है,
पापा का दिया एक पैसा भी,
गुल्लक में न गया हो,,
डर से नहीं,
उनके काँधों की जिम्मेदारियों से,,

अब न माँ है,
न पापा...!

पर आज भी है;
माँ की दी गई गुल्लक,
और भरी हुई खुशियाँ,,
पापा के दिये गये सिक्के,
और मजबूत कन्धे...।

वो गोरे रंग पर नीली t-shirt कुछ ज़्यादा ही फब रही थी
उसकी वो smile देख मेरे दिल की तो धड़कन बढ़ रही थी

शुक्रगुज़ार है मेरी गाड़ी का जो ख़राब हुई
आखिर मदद संग नसीब वो नशीली शराब हुई

पर शराब है आखिर नशा यूं ही नहीं उतरेगा
इस दिल को फिर तलब है उस अजनबी से मिलने की....

I often wonder, at which point does a love story really begins?? Does it begin when the individual involved see each other for the first time? Or, when they start thinking about each other in the days that follow or when they meet up for the first time after they have thought about the others? And revel in the nighta that follow in suddenly realized joy of one's own heart that was hitherto unleashed .or when they start talking at length and discover how similar or different they are, depending on whatever excites them more or, when they begin to know each other with every passing meeting and surrender, quite involuntarily, to the mystery that the other person seems to be. Or, do they simply fall in love when they are meant to be fall in love? Like they come together and there's no alternative but for a love story to begin..... Everyone have there own story which will have some mysteries among themselves...
