बहुत सिद्दत से चाहा था उसे ,
हमें ना ये पता था ,
सिद्दत-ए-मोहब्बत उसे रस नहीं आती।

तुम भी एक दिन थक जाओगे।
फिर ढूढ़ोगे नयी आंखें हर दिन,
फरेब करके कभी हमसे
रकीब को दोस्तो की तरह मिलाओगे।
हम भी आँखे मूंदकर भरोसे का दिखावा करेंगे,
काले राज दफन है यहाँ, मुझे यूहीं न पढ़ पाओगे।
जिस मोड़ पर लाकर तुमने छोड़ दिया है,
उस रास्ते से बचकर तुम भी आखिर कहां जाओगे?
