when the vibration
from your pulses
travel in my arm.

Doctor knew the cure
for my gaping wrist.
Funny,
my distorted psyche
was too busy
fighting the wounds
of my aching heart..
so much,
that all I could feel
was only my heart
being numb.

ख़त में अपनी तन्हाई लिख रहा था,

दूर शहर में एक कलाई मुझपर रुबाई लिख रही थी ।

Your fingerprints on my wrist
are yet holding me your captive.

Beloved sister,
Tie your sacred string of love, sublime
On my wrist,
So that I may live longer
To protect you from the beast !

who can afford a bandaid
each time I run a blade
across my wrist
for pain is an old friend
I promised, never to ditch.

The whiff of
Morbid childhood
Through the slits
Of my wrist,
On polished desk.

Some days
He would open his arms
And ask for a hug.

Some nights
He would slit his wrists
And colour the rug...
