There are walls that exists within me
that I must break down for my own growth.
But there are also walls that exists within me
that I must keep up, so people know that I am not available at their convenience.

Sometimes your boundaries are the gentle reminder the outside world needs to understand that you won’t compromise your inner world for anything or anyone.

I spent years building my walls.
Carefully constructing every inch,making sure there were no cracks, no voids and no imperfections.
With every year going by, my walls climbed higher and higher.
An impenetrable barrier I had perfected.

And then there came you.

Knocking it all down in a matter of seconds
With that smile of yours.

Strong, silent..
Built walls, defenses..
And after I had..
Shut myself in my fort..
I learnt..
Sharing is not..
A weakness..

Maturity Is when you realize
Few people in our life
are just like walls
They'll just surround us
of with no use
