fairy lights
that weren't good enough
because they were too dim
firecrackers that didn't light up the sky
but were too loud
wallets that on a crowded street
got stolen or lost
new phones handled carelessly,
left broken
and the people like that too

One of the hardest things as a child ,is waiting to hear that one "well done ...I'm proud of you " it doesn't matter how old you are , a compliment from someone touches you ,makes you smile but a compliment from your MOM or DAD feels greater than your greatest achievement...& there's no greater pain than knowing YOU'LL NEVER EVER HEAR IT COS THE ONE YOU YEARN FOR IS NO LONGER HERE..TO SAY IT
