Smile and tears are so alike with me, they are neither of them confined to any perticular feelings.
The hardest moment is not when tears flow from our eyes but it's when we have to hide the tears in our eyes with a smile on our face!!

तो कुछ दिन बाद,
उसने मिलने बुलाया,
थोड़ा ज्यादा ही इस बार इंतज़ार करवाया,
मैं भी काफी दिनों से था घबराया ।

वो आयी, थी चेहरे पर उसके उदासी छाई,
इससे पहले की मैं कुछ पूछता, वो शुरू हो गयी,
बिना रुके, बिना थमे, बस बोलती जा रही थी,
शायद मैं भी उसे सिर्फ सुनना ही चाहता था ।।

मैने फिर बीच मे उसे रोकते हुए पूछा,
आखिर अचानक से हुआ क्या,
इस बेरुखी की है कोई वजह क्या ??

उसने कहा, प्यार मुक्कमल हो हर किसी का,
ये जरूरी तो नही,
ये प्यार है, जिसे मिल जाये वो दिल का अमीर,
और जिसे ना मिले वो बन जाये राह का फ़क़ीर ।।
