SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIP

To write is to survive in symbiosis—
you give and get.
But what you receive is not
the real reward, the giving is,
the writing is.
When you write,
you create something
out of nothing.
Where there was once a void,
you fill it with an image,
a person, a song, a stage.
When I say
I can grow a chrysanthemum
on crisp paper,
it is the flower I leave you with
that smells like the golden sun
and it's burning your fingers
down to ash as you live to touch it.

Mayhap, it's because the nights
get inundated with a deafening lull
that demands you to recall
the fleeting instances filled with joy--
those moments spent together,
when we were naively young
and utterly consumed
by the wondrous symbiosis of you and I.
The present world is so cold
that naught else gets to reflect
those precious memories of old;
you aren't here with me
and nothing has meaning anymore.

where my beliefs served as zooxanthellae,
and words act as the coral reefs.

when waves of perception put pen to paper,
It brings out my imagination on the continental shelf.

Leaders and followers are interdependent but not interchangeable

Because
They boost each other growth.

between two persons

with similarities

which they are still
Exploring.

They nourish the Soil which nourished them!

Every story has a life.

It is a symbiosis we all live with.
