যজ্ঞবেদীর ওপরে বলি দেওয়ার পরে
যেন লাল গঙ্গাজল
পড়ে আছে আজও, ছুটছে না ওর রং।

কিন্তু আজ, জ্বালা হয়ে উঠছে
মানুষের ভেতরের সুপ্ত পশু।
আহুতি হলো মানবতা।
কি ঢুকে গেছে মানুষের গায়ে, প্রতিশোধ নিতে,
বলিবেদীতে মারা গেলেন পশুদের আত্মা?

যেরা নির্দোষ, পবিত্র মারা জাচ্ছে,
নরবলি হচ্ছে ওই দেখো, মানব-পশুদের হাতে।

দেখো, হোস্পিটালের বলিবেদীতে পড়া আছে
কোনো ডাক্তারের এক ফোঁটা রক্ত,
যেটাকে কেও কখনও মুছতে পারবে না।

The journey of being called as "Bohiragoto"(=outsider) to "Lokkhichele"(=good boy) has been commendable.

And like the cherry on the top,
making an eye contact with the CM,
"With due respect kichu mone korben na, amra kono surname dekhe chikitsa kori na".
(With due respect don't mind this, but we don't look at the surname before giving any treatment.)

I am so proud of all my juniors who stayed strong throughout and thankful to my batchmates and seniors for supporting their backs. This revolution is marked in the history of medical fraternity.

After so much has happened all over India regarding protection of Doctors at workplace, I still see non medicos posting about how "Netherlands passes law Making everyone an organ donor by default"

Don't rest until justice is served my dear common men,enough is enough!Doctors are our saviours, not magicians. They try their best,but can't cast a spell,they are humans too of flesh & blood! Hooliganism is not an answer, gratitude is. #standwithNRS
