You always said I look best in jeans,
Now when I am 22 u want me be more like a girl.

Whenever I said I am going out even to buy milk,
Father you said I'll come with u,
Now you expect me to me more socially interactive with people.

Since past 6 yrs I am living in hostel, before that when I was at home you told me to focus on career, and said everything else can wait,
Now you expect me to be very friendly with each one of my cousin's.

Just tell me how do u expect a person to change her entire personality because u were confused about upbringing ?

Little did I know you would be the reason keeping me up for nights.

I once went to ask for leave permission from my professor's who are all Doctors.
So there was this one room and I told them my father was diagnosed with a serious issue and I needed permission to go home.
They asked my roll no. And then they ask me what's your caste ?
I was offended but I told them anyway and left.
When I came back to my place, my hometown, dad was hospitalized and my train reached at 3:45 am. So apparently a single girl had to go to the hospital alone at 4 am.
This auto man asks me, and I qoute, "Beta, who is admit, what happened?
And I told him and he said, don't worry, everything will be fine.

My father is perfectly fine now, but this one incident proves that education can't teach everything.
Just look at the mentality !
And please people not all doctors are like this, I myself am a doctor. Profession doesn't marks the level of maturity a person has.
The problem lies in the person ( particularly the place) !!!

We were all exhausted and scared when during COVID times we were struck in our homes fearing we could catch the disease and probably something bad could happen to our families.

Now, it brings tears in my eyes to see 10 chickens in one small cage crying for help, wanting to get free, but realising the fact again and again that their death is inevitable.
They are literally lined up and sent to die.
Why?? Because yum they taste good.

Wake up people, please,
Have some shame,
They are animals, they are friends, they are NOT FOOD !!

And ultimately the best thing about home is not the comfy covers, soft quilts or delicious cuisines but the familiarity that resides in the place that provides great comfort.
It's not the absence of new faces exactly but the absence of insecurities in looking at new faces that marks the level of comfort for a place.

Apparently India is a country where we should boycott products of nepotism because real talent deserves a chance
But, for the education system that actually affects the whole country, hum reservation rekhenge....
Because why not 😊

Now coming back to real life, in the field of education since a very long time this system of privilege has been present and literally I have never seen people so agitated and alert about this issue...
Matlab hume actors actresses to purely talented chahiye, lekin doctors, engineers aur IAS jaise log, jo iss desh ko chalate h, un post pe talent ka kya kaam, privilege deke kisi ko bhi bitha do....
Because why not?
