"मंच पर बोलने का डर"

जब भी बोलने की बारी आई है
तब - तब दिल घबराया है
ऐसे तो सब कुछ आता है
फिर बोलने में दिल और दिमाग क्यों घबराया है
जब भी मेरी बोलने की बारी आती है
याद किया हुआ सब कुछ दिमाग से गायब हो जाता है
जैसे कुछ तैयारी करी ही नहीं है
ऐसा माहौल बन जाता है
बोलने में सब कुछ गड़बड़ हो जाता है
लोग क्या बोलेंगे यह सोचकर मन घबराता है

My fingers and feet go cold...
But I'm obliged to stand bold...😂
My heart starts to beat louder..
But what to do....I'm the impotent speaker...♾

Everybody has stage fear,
The thing is, some show it on stage
And some show it behind stage..

When you are unprepared and inexperienced
that's when you have stage fear.

But when you are thorough and well prepared
that's when the stage fears.

You do have a stage fear, right?
"Why?"
What remarks will the audience give?
What they will think of you?
"Is this your fear?"
So now let me say you,
"You are the worst!"
Now come on the stage
Speak, and you'll gather oviation!!
Say me, is there any fear... still?

The loudest heartbeat is heard
not on the stage, but in the backstage.

At the heart of a crowd,
I stood solo...
Ma eyes were proud
But confidence----too low.

the Bolder me takes over,
leaving behind
the Meeker me...

/ THE NEWS READER /

It was Monday morning and
the whole school gathered before
the stage on the playground
for the school assembly.

I was nervous, anxious with
zero confidence, my hands were
trembling and I felt like running away
as I stood on the stage in front of the
mic to read out the news headlines.

That was my first time on stage
in my whole 14 years of life.

Even today I don't get that kind
of fright while reading news amidst
camera lights on the nation's
leading news channel.
