it's hard to speak out

दशत ओ सहरा में बिखरता गया जो
हर दिन वो हम तेरा ख्वाब देखते रहे.

ढलती शाम में जहाँ बिछड़े थे हम
हर दिन वो ढलती शाम देखते रहे.

बज़्म'में मुनासिब समझा मुकर जाना.
रोज जुबां का झूठा एतबार देखते रहे.

बहुत आबा झाही थी ज़नाज़े पे उसके.
ज़िन्दा जो शख्स सबकी राह देखते रहे.

मेरे बश में नहीं था डूब के जाना माझी
किनारे पे बैठ पानी का बहाव देखते रहे.

अब्र सब्र खबर एक दीये की तीली बालिद
हाथों पे रख अंगार जलती कब्र देखते रहे.
