नरम जांघें। सत इंच लंबी हड्डी.
वह आग लगाना जानती है,
मैं भड़काना जानता हूं।
मैंने झुर्रियों को दूर कर दिया है
उसके बारे में मेरी जो राय थी जिसे मैंने सालों पहले त्याग दिया था;
मेरी अन्य राय भी हैं जिन्हें मैं संशोधित कर रहा हूं।
मैं किसी और का दिया दर्द' उसे बांट रहा हूं
मैंने उसे तकिए के खिलाफ दबा दिया
वह दम घुटने की हद तक अस्थिर हो गयी,
उसके पंजे फैल गए,
उसे थोड़ा डर लगता है,
मुझे कोई डर नहीं था -
मैं हमेशा उसे कभी भी आजाद कर सकता था
जैसे अचानक मुझे किया गया था।
मैं अपने दिमाग को उसके साथ खेलने की अनुमति देता हूं।
फिलहाल मैं कुछ भी नहीं सोच सकता -
सिवाय इसके कि मैं कभी एक संवेदनशील व्यक्ति था।....

कुछ दर्द हम सहते है, मगर लिखते नहीं
वर्ना कागज पर लफ्जों के जनाजे उठते।।
हम तो सह गये एक बार ही टुट कर
शायद आप होते तो बिखर जाते टुट कर।।
