I don't know who needs to hear it but,

They left. They're gone.
What's hurting you now is your thoughts, your memory, your idea of them.

The only person hurting you now is you.

watches the sky turn blue to glitters.
writes countless moment love songs.
dancing fingers stiffening while inking.
dreaming time rewinding, feeling joyous.
silently wipes any drop of tear, not to fall.
sleeping trying to numb all emotions to rest.

Not asking for help is not maturity
It's self sabotage

I feel like I need to handle
big responsibilities.
I always tell myself I need too
in order to survive.
Yet the moment I get it,
I feel such a huge pressure to fulfill it.
I ask myself; do I even deserve
this opportunity?
What if I screw up?
Yet, from an outsider perspective,
they perceive me as being too
prideful as if I said I could do better.
But they don't know there's
a nagging sensation telling me
I'm not capable of it.
I'm trying so hard to eliminate
that feeling of worthlessness.
I have to remind myself that I'm
reliable, mature, smart and skillful.
I have to believe it in order
to vanquish my insecurity.
Self-sabotage is such a dangerous thing.
Don't be a victim of yourself.
Be your own saviour.

My insecurity is the greatest sculptor,
So amazingly it carves problems
out of irrelevant details,
that I can't help but
pay a high price to buy...
~self destruction.

The reason for self sabotage,
The reason to feel unhappy,
The reason to get easily hurt,
The reason to just feel she is really wrong and she has to be more understanding towards each and everyone...

Of emotions, into the same pit
I was called, to rescue you from
What a display of bravado
What good riddance!

Now you would march
With your head held high
Breathing deep in pride
Feeding your ego
Sometimes marching at
The beat of your own drums
Sometimes dancing in frenzy
To the metallic cacophony
Looking really cool
Thinking in your mind
What good riddance!

Goodbye.
A silent one though
I better get going
Much pending tasks
A checklist to fulfill
A protocol to follow
Oh! What do you know?
Thankfully, I don't need to explain
I too can leave emotions aside
And say, "what good riddance!"
