Those who have something
That they still value,
Don't easily squander
Their lives away--
They'll try to act, decently,
And be more mindful
Of the rules and regulations,
Set about by this realm.
Yet, those who've lost faith
In themselves and in society,
Don't really concern themselves
With what anyone declares--
For them, it'd be like,
"Propriety be damned!"
Oh, try looking down
Your pretty nose at them
And they'll answer you
With a knowing sneer--
Cackling, ferociously,
As they head off to the next
Exciting fix, they can find.
