looking into the eyes of Moon.

The mother in old age home
was restless whole day
just to hear a single call.

But her only son
was busy in selecting the right pics
to be posted on Mother's Day Special.

हमारी इतनी सी बात पर हंगामा हो गया
हमने उनके जुर्म को उनका कह दिया

ज़ख्म-ए-जिगर झेलता रहा उनके सारे तीर
और उन्होंने एक दिन हमें पराया कह दिया

रखी थी यादें संजो कर दिल-ए-तहखाने में
जो झाँका उन्होंने तो हमें लुटेरा कह दिया

माँ बाप ने बड़े शौक से देखे थे सपने महल के
इकलौती औलाद ने रहने को बसेरा दे दिया

रात भर जलाये थे जो सपनों के दीये
हकीकत की आंधी में दीये सवेरा ले गया

नुक्कड़ पर जो सच झूठ का झगड़ा हुआ था न
उस धक्का-मुक्की में बेचारा वो सच मर गया
