छोटा सा घर भी संसार होना चाहता है
खामखां की दौड़ में रफ्तार होना चाहता है
देखो वो परिंद तो क़ैद भी नहीं
पूछो जरा, क्यों फरार होना चाहता है ?

यूं ही नहीं आती जिदंगी में तब्दीलियां...
मोम को पिघलना पड़ता है रोशन होने के लिए।।

Zindagi ke iss race me, thak chuka hu mai.
Abhi tak haar nahee maani, bus ruk chuka hu mai.
Shuruwaat tho nayee bhi ho sakthi thee,
Magar, Apni manzil ko paas aate,
dekh chuka hu mai.

I was running like a racer, in the race of life...
Which would seem like, cutting by the sharp edge of knife...
Was surely knowing that, there's an end of the race...
But where and what, that wasn't included in my phrase...
Distraction was only at three points, which were: Anger, Sorrow and Affection...
Which made me a person, with infection...
The lesson which I ever got, was the difference between confidence and arrogance...
Which made me a person with full of elegance...
"We live to die" was my wrong believe...
As it made me forget, that before dying we should live...!

My First Race

It was a strange case
in a beautiful place,
I decided to run a race.
I set up a base
in a moment of grace,
I looked at his face,
tied up my lace,
picked up my pace,
Ran all through the maze
And braced!!!
For I had won the race.
