It all starts with an itch.
Something crawling beneath your skin
And you are helpless but to host You;
A You you never thought would surface,
A plastic, nonchalant version of Everything
But You.
It all starts with the neutral thoughts,
For you have come past your negativity
To a place where positivity holds no value!
And you feel struck in a hollow world;
You feel your frail Avatar falling down
In this vortex of penniless memories!
Waiting to finally hit the ground but you
Don't.
A burden of a few too many scars
Resorting to ways of escaping this farce
You are stronger than ever before
But you still don't want to fight
For its not worth of your borrowed time;
A place awaits, where you are You again;
Running free, sleeping still, biting into the
Forbidden Apple.
Finally letting go of the grapple!
And you close your eyes to this reality
Waking up to the one where you finally
Smile again.
