For so many years, I had been thinking what is there in a name, until the day when I had to fill up my passport application form. My parents never had the foresight that his son would one day apply for passport and travel abroad . They named me just plain Srinivasan and called me Cheenu as is vogue in Tamilnadu.
The confusion arose which name , I should fill up in which column. First name, Given name, Sur name , middle name etc. Always I thought, First name is my name, Srinivasan. In my SSLC Certificate it was just N Srinivasan. Somehow I filled up the form, got my passport with my father's name first and my name appearing second. NARAYANAN SRINIVASAN and my wife's with my name first, SRINIVASAN HEMAMALINI.

लिमिटेड वैलिडिटी पासपोर्ट है।
